1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, listing an event, or purchasing a ticket through E-Venz Africa, you agree to these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organisation.

2. Accounts

Organiser accounts are reviewed manually before activation. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, misrepresents an event, or is used for fraudulent activity.

3. Events and content

Organisers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their event listings, for delivering the event as described, and for any content they upload. You must hold the rights to every image, logo and description you publish.

Events are reviewed before appearing publicly. We may decline or remove any listing at our discretion, including events that are unlawful, misleading, or inconsistent with the character of the platform.

4. Ticketing and payments

Organisers connect their own Pesapal merchant account. Attendee payments settle directly with the organiser — E-Venz Africa does not take custody of ticket revenue and is not a party to the transaction between organiser and attendee.

Refunds, cancellations, and any dispute about admission are matters between the attendee and the organiser. Organisers must publish clear refund terms and honour them.

Free tickets bypass payment processing entirely, and are otherwise governed by these same terms.

5. Tickets and admission

Each ticket carries a unique code and QR code, and is valid for a single admission unless the organiser states otherwise. Duplicating, reselling, or altering a ticket may result in it being refused at the gate.

6. Flyer generation

Flyer generation consumes credits from the organiser's plan allowance. By uploading a photo to generate a flyer, you confirm you have the right to use that image. Generated flyers are for personal and promotional use in connection with the event.

7. Plans and billing

Plans are billed annually and grant the allowances described at the time of purchase. Allowances do not roll over between billing periods. Plan changes take effect from the date they are applied to your account.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• upload malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform;
• scrape, resell, or redistribute attendee data obtained through the platform;
• use the platform to send unsolicited bulk email;
• impersonate another person, organisation, or event;
• interfere with the platform's operation or that of other users.

9. Data protection

Organisers receive attendee data for the purpose of running their event, and act as data controllers for it. You must handle that data lawfully, use it only for the event it was collected for, and honour any request from an attendee to access or delete their information.

10. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you upload. You grant E-Venz Africa a non-exclusive licence to host, display and reproduce that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform and your event.

11. Availability

We work to keep the platform available and accurate, but it is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change or withdraw features with reasonable notice.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, E-Venz Africa is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost revenue arising from use of the platform, from an event not taking place as described, or from a payment dispute between an organiser and an attendee.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to account holders by email. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
